An exciting position has become available for a full-time trainee Chimney Sweep to join our thriving and expanding Exeter and surrounding area-based business.

Your attitude and approach is more important than prior relevant experience. All theoretical and practical skills training will be gained through our comprehensive on the job and external training programme, leading to a recognised qualification.
Company van. Salary plus commission-based pay. Team annual bonuses. Company pension and private health care after qualifying period. All tools provided. All training provided. Working with chimneys is a unique job, and as exciting and varied as the different locations you will attend, whether it be a castle, stately home or a terraced house in Exeter. The successful applicant will be fully trained in all aspects of sweeping and inspecting chimneys, flues, stoves, and fireplaces – eventually completing an NVQ in Chimney Sweeping. In time you will learn to carry out CCTV flue camera inspections, drone inspections, integrity tests, and conduct detailed reports on a variety of chimney systems.You are:
Enthusiastic with a helpful, positive work ethic. Professional, presentable, and personable. Thorough and able to use your initiative, while also following important instructions.This role is for any age and gender but please appreciate the manual nature of the work can be physically demanding at times.A full clean driving license is essential, and you need to be eligible to work in the UK.Joining Best Chimney Clean means becoming an expert in a niche profession, where genuinely no day is the same!
